Founded In 2025
HER Alliance began as the Wisconsin branch of Awaken, a broader anti-trafficking initiative. In May 2025, the Wisconsin team launched as an independent organization focused on localized support and empowerment for survivors and community awareness. This transition reflects deepening commitment to respond to exploitation and to tailor services to the unique needs of Wisconsin’s communities while continuing collaborative work with partners.
Affiliations
HER Alliance operates as an independent faith-based nonprofit and does not appear to be formally tied to a specific denomination, though its mission is rooted in Christian values of restoration and dignity.
