Founded In 1992
Freedom House began in 1992 when a small group of concerned Christians opened a four-bedroom house on N. Irwin Avenue in Green Bay and began serving four families at a time. Over the years they expanded, acquiring a larger site in 2003 at 2997 St. Anthony Drive, and later added a west-side campus called “The Bridge.” In recent years they have completed a new 16-room shelter building in 2020, further expanding their capacity to serve families with children.
