Adopt a Food Pantry. Feed the Body. Nourish the Soul.

A community responds and the work continues.

Last year, the Brown County Hunger Coalition called on churches, congregations, and faith-based organizations across all denominations to respond to a growing need in our community.

Delayed SNAP benefits intensified an already difficult situation. Local food pantries had been serving record numbers of neighbors for months, and many were stretched thin. Faith communities throughout Northeast Wisconsin answered the call with compassion, generosity, and service.

Because our community came together, local pantries received vital support—but the need did not end with that immediate crisis.

Food scarcity remains an ongoing challenge for families and individuals throughout our region. That is why we are continuing to build lasting partnerships between faith communities and food pantries in our highest-need neighborhoods:

Local Secular Resources:

  • Rooted In Inc. – 330 S. Broadway St., Green Bay

  • Vivent Health – 445 S. Adams St., Green Bay

Together, we can make sure no one in our community goes hungry. Instead of donating high- priced, processed foods:

Your hands and hearts make all the difference. Give your time to strengthen our ability to serve more neighbors, more often.

Last year showed us what is possible when a community respond together. Now, we are building on that response to create a sustainable, community-driven food system rooted in faith, compassion, and shared purpose.

Let’s continue living out our calling to love our neighbors and feed the hungry.
