Founded In 1989

Cup O’ Joy began in September 1989 in a small, rundown building that once served as a shoe store and print shop. What started as a coffeehouse outreach quickly gained momentum with the help of volunteers and a strong community vision. Over time, the venue transitioned into a full concert hall, attracting national artists like Building 429, Sara Groves, and JJ Heller. Today, Cup O’ Joy continues to thrive as a ministry built on volunteer dedication and a love for faith-based entertainment. A testament to its impact is the strong bond between artists, volunteers, and audience members, creating lasting relationships and growing community through music and service.

Cup O Joy Mission Statement

To provide a faith-based, family-friendly environment where music, art, and community connect; to build lasting relationships through volunteer-led ministry; and to inspire joy, hope, and spiritual growth through accessible Christian entertainment.

We are a music venue run entirely by volunteers, dedicated to hosting “Music That Inspires” in a family-friendly, alcohol-free environment on the west side of Green Bay. Artists from across the country come to our stage, and we welcome every style of Christian or uplifting music in our listening room setting. We serve snacks and drinks, and our priority is to provide a space where performance is front and center and hearts can connect.
