Founded In 2003
MissionGuides began with a simple desire — to help everyday Christians discover how they could personally participate in God’s global mission. In the early 2000s, founder Jeffrey Hollenbeck recognized that many believers wanted to serve but didn’t know where to start. What began as a local effort to connect people with mission opportunities grew into a full ministry dedicated to equipping and sending followers of Jesus to the nations.
Over the years, MissionGuides has helped countless individuals and churches identify their calling, connect with mission partners, and serve effectively across the globe. Each testimony is a reminder that when believers are empowered and equipped, God multiplies their impact in powerful ways.
Affiliations
Mission Guides partners with local churches, mission agencies, and global ministries to mobilize Christians for service. They collaborate with the Mission Works Global Network and other Christian mission organizations to provide opportunities for training and engagement.
MissionGuides is an interdenominational Christian organization that works alongside churches of many denominations. Their focus is on unity in Christ and partnership in fulfilling the Great Commission.

At MissionGuides, our passion is to help believers discover their role in God’s global story. We believe every Christian has a part to play in the Great Commission, whether through going, giving, sending, or praying. Since 2003, we’ve dedicated ourselves to exposing, equipping, and empowering ordinary believers to make an extraordinary impact in missions.
We come alongside individuals, churches, and organizations to help them see where God is moving and how they can join Him. Through resources, training, and mission opportunities, we help people take their next step in obedience — from awareness to active participation. Our heart is to see every follower of Christ engage meaningfully in His mission, locally and around the world.
MissionGuides exists because the mission field is vast, but the workers are few. We believe that when believers understand God’s heart for the nations, the Church becomes stronger, more unified, and more effective in reaching the world for Christ.
